Nisa-Today's Selects Kewill to Provide Trading Partner Connectivity Excellence
Kewill, a leading provider of business-to-business solutions and services, announced today that Nisa-Today's, the UK's largest distribution and services organisation for retail and wholesale companies, has selected the Kewill-Inovis value added network (VAN) service as its preferred electronic data interchange (EDI) provider and will commence migrating its trading community to the Inovis next-generation VAN, inovisworks.net.

A Kewill customer for many years now, Nisa-Today's valued the long-term partnership and support they received from the Kewill team. When Kewill partnered with Inovis to offer the inovisworks.net VAN to the UK market, a perfect solution was formed based on the best-of-breed Inovis VAN and Kewill's excellent name for serving the UK retail marketplace with business-to-business (B2B) solutions. Nisa-Today's has decided to migrate to the Kewill Inovis' next-generation VAN to manage the flow of critical eCommerce information with its trading community of more than 1200 vendors.

Inovisworks.net, which provides a powerful engine for end-to-end control and visibility of B2B transactions and trading partner relationships, is complemented by full integration capabilities with Kewill's MessageBroker solution, which converts internal application data formats to and from EDI.

"As the UK's largest distribution and services organisation for retail and wholesale companies, we have a long and successful tradition of continuously servicing our members through a broad trading partner community. Foremost, as we strive to continually improve that service, is the perpetual advancement of our supply chain," said Wayne Swallow, IT director for Nisa-Today's. "The Kewill Inovis offering delivers the most comprehensive product suite, coupled with the security of dealing with one of the UK's leading business-to-business solution companies, Kewill. We see Kewill as our partner in helping us to effectively implement an eCommerce strategy that ensures effective collaboration with our suppliers, whilst retaining our position as the leading distribution organisation in our sector."

"Kewill are focused on providing customers like Nisa-Today's with a robust, integrated suite of business-to-business solutions and services that deliver revenue and profitability through trading community management," said Jacquie Boast, Managing Director of Kewill Solutions Europe. "By providing a single point of contact for software and the value added network, we are helping our customers to work more efficiently and remain competitive in today's retail marketplace."
