TPP Internet Accredited as .EU Registrar |
TPP Internet, an ICANN accredited registrar, today announced that it has been accredited as an .EU registrar.
According to the company, this announcement strengthens the comprehensive international domain name offering already available to TPP Internet customers. Any business operating within the European Union can now apply to register a .EU Domain Name with TPP Internet. The sunrise period for trademark holders and holders of other prior rights will commence on 7 December 2005. Pre-registrations are now being taken for the sunrise period and the open registration period.
"This is an important step in our strategy to help assist Australian and overseas businesses protect their brands by providing a broad range of domains from the International Domain Name space," added Peter Shilling, Managing Director, TPP Internet. |
