SurfControl Achieves OPSEC Certification |
SurfControl, a provider of enterprise threat protection services, today announced that SurfControl Web Filter 5.0 has achieved OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) certification from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a provider of Internet security services.
OPSEC certification gives a recognized confirmation that SurfControl Web Filter 5.0 for Check Point FireWall-1 has passed a rigorous course of tests to assure that it seamlessly integrates with Check Point's Internet security solutions. The combined solutions shield enterprises from the complete spectrum of Internet threats including spyware, Trojans, viruses, phishing attacks and other inappropriate downloads. SurfControl Web Filter for Check Point FireWall-1 increases an enterprise's overall security posture and extends the value of the existing firewall infrastructure by providing a better understanding of the activities of trusted insiders accessing the Web.
