IT automation and security solutions reseller will distribute Opsware's automation software to customers throughout major Swiss vertical markets.
Opsware Inc., a provider of IT automation and utility computing software, yesterday announced the expansion of its reseller network through a partnership with Nexos AG, an IT automation and security solutions reseller.
Based in Switzerland, Nexos will distribute Opsware's automation software to customers throughout major Swiss vertical markets. Nexos will offer Opsware's full line of IT automation solutions including the Opsware Server Automation System (SAS), Opsware Network Automation System (NAS) and Opsware Asset Management System (AMS) to medium and large enterprises across the finance, logistics, pharmaceutical, public services, and retail markets.
As an authorized Opsware reseller, Nexos will receive extensive sales and marketing support and in-depth training through Opsware's partner web site, online seminars and web-based sales and technical training programs.
"IT automation is a vital component in managing the complete IT lifecycle as enterprises look for innovative ways to increase operational efficiencies and reduce costs," said Thomas Spinnler, CEO, Nexos AG. "Opsware is the clear market leader, offering the only solution that automates servers, network devices and other important IT assets. We've already seen strong interest for the company's software based on its technical merit, global scalability and broad range of advanced IT automation capabilities."
"Our entry into the Swiss market demonstrates the increasing worldwide demand for Opsware's IT automation software," said Remy Dubois, Vice President, EMEA. "Nexos is a strategic addition to our roster of international resellers with deep ties to enterprises across several vertical markets including the global finance community. Our partnership allows us to capitalize on the growing demand for our solution in Europe, while providing superior support and services at a regional level."
