Air Products Announces Price Increase |
Air Products today announced that it will assess a percentage price increase, effective January 1, 2006, for its entire line of ACT(R) specialty chemicals. The percentage price increase will range from 3 to 7 percent, according to specific products. ACT specialty chemicals are etch residue removers and photo-resist strippers.
The price increase results from the unprecedented rise in raw material and energy costs. While Air Products has worked to absorb these increased costs and hold prices steady for its customers, the company has reached the point where it can no longer shield its customers from these increased costs and must pass along a portion to them.
Air Products is a leading supplier of materials (gases and chemicals), equipment and services to the global semiconductor and electronics industries. Through its extensive product line, technological know-how and lasting customer relationships, Air Products has earned the trust of its customers by knowing their businesses, understanding their challenges, and finding effective solutions.
