New CEO at asknet
asknet a leading provider of global e-commerce solutions and distribution services (ESD), announced the appointment of Gerhard Rumpff as its new CEO.

Rumpff a 25 year Veteran of the IT industry has extensive experience in the Software Industry. Prior to joining asknet, Rumpff was with Microsoft in Australia were he held the positions of Enterprise Director and Director Communications Sector. Other previous roles include Managing Director, WebMethods Australia/NZ; General Manager Software, IBM Australia/NZ; Managing Director, Lotus Australia/NZ and Lotus Central Europe.

Rumpff takes over the CEO role from Dietmar Waudig. Waudig will remain as a member of the senior executive team playing a significant role in the ongoing management of asknet.

"I am pleased that asknet has secured such a capable and experienced manager as Gerhard," said Dietmar Waudig, who has led the company since it was founded in 1995.
