Facio Software, Inc. and Digital China conclude agreement |
Facio Software, Inc. and Digital China have recently signed a long-term agreement to market Facio's "Uni PushMail" service. The first wave of Daxian CU-928 Pocket PC phones bundled with Uni PushMail software has started pouring into the market. Push-based Email services have been immensely popular among North American businesses. The ability to receive important emails instantaneously on a mobile device has captured the hearts of countless business executives. Despite its popularity in North America, push-based email has only recently gone through adolescence in China. Uni PushMail is the first commercially available CDMA1X-based Push-Email service in China. This service is jointly launched by Facio Software, Inc and China Unicom Newspace in April 2005. Uni PushMail service let you receive email instantly on your mobile handset. When new emails arrive at your Inbox, they are automatically downloaded to your handset. Your emails are pushed to your phone just like SMS. This service is also available wherever CDMA roaming is available. Uni PushMail is the perfect sidekick for the frequent business traveler.
Daxian CU-928 is a powerful CDMA1X "PDA" handset. Running on Microsoft Windows Pocket PC operating system, CU-928 allows you to watch live-streaming TV, monitor road conditions using China Unicom's U-web service and manage your office documents and personal appointments. With the CU-928, who needs a laptop anymore? Tony Chan, CEO of Facio Software, Inc. says, "With the enthusiastic support of China Unicom, Uni PushMail service has gained much momentum in China. In just 6 months, we have signed agreements with Digital China and China Satcom (Shanghai) to promote our service!" When asked about the looming competition from Blackberry, Tony asserted, "The Redberry is not afraid, neither did David fear Goliath!" |
