DesktopStandard Announces European Expansion |
DesktopStandard Corporation, the leading developer of Group Policy-based desktop management products, today announced European expansion plans and a new addition to its executive team. Leading the operation, Jos de Kruijf is an experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully expanding European markets for US software companies.
"DesktopStandard continues to broaden its leadership team to meet the growing needs of its global customers and partners," said John Moyer, CEO of DesktopStandard. "Our European expansion is the result of customer and systems integration partner demand and is a sign of the growing adoption of Group Policy-based enterprise desktop management, made possible when DesktopStandard introduced the first Group Policy Extension products. We are excited to have someone with. de Kruijf's talent and experience to lead this phase of our operations."
De Kruijf joins DesktopStandard as Managing Director, European Operations, with over 20 years of International software experience at top firms including Openwave Systems, where he successfully established the European operations and grew business to 250 million euros in just three years. De Kruijf also led organizations in related capacities at Nortel Networks and Adobe Systems. "I am excited to be part of this innovative company and to lead its European efforts," said de Kruijf.
De Kruijf will lead DesktopStandard Europe which was established to address the overwhelming demand for its award-winning PolicyMaker(TM) and Profile Maker(R) product suites and its recently introduced GPOVault(TM) change control extension to Microsoft's Group Policy Management Console (GPMC). De Kruijf is developing the DesktopStandard business in Europe with a direct sales, support force and a network of system integrators, value added resellers, and distributors. In additional to local sales and support, the expansion includes the localization of products and supporting materials for target markets. |
