Top-heavy sequoia gets trim to ease load
An arborist took a chainsaw to a 2,000-year-old tree Tuesday, and it rained giant sequoia limbs. This was one memorable pruning, because chainsaws just do not intersect here with trees that germinated at the time of Christ. Nobody cuts giant sequoias in national parks.
