Symantec settles adware dispute with Hotbar
A deal announced Friday between Symantec Corp. and New York-based Hotbar.com Inc. calls for Symantec to dismiss its suit against the graphical-skins purveyor, but it will continue to classify Hotbar's program files as low-risk adware.
