S.F. police halt show featuring banned snakes |

A pair of domesticated boa constrictors are out of work after police shut down a tourist street show in San Francisco, authorities said. An animal control officer took the 5-foot-long snakes, named Maggie and Rod, from their owner Michael Brown of San Francisco on Friday, citing Brown for possession of wild animals. |
