1/16/2006 5:10:49 PM - Seagate Technology has been the one hard drive manufacturer to set the 100GB laptop storage capacity limit and then they broke their own record not once, but twice! Many laptop users can now enjoy up to 160GB's of storage capacity on the move. The new 160GB drive sports a new technology dubbed "Perpendicular Recording Technology" which supposedly will allow hard drives to greatly increase capacity while maintaining size. Something I expect we will see a lot more of in 2006. |
