Despite all that, S3 launched its 4th generation DirectX 9.0 GPU's known as the Chrome 20 series. This series of GPU's bring S3's signature Hi-Definition visual experience with native 1080p HDTV support. The two cards annouced were the Chrome S27 and S25. Each sports their own advantages, but it is curious to note that the S27 sports a core clock speed of 700MHz which is faster than either ATI or NVIDIA's highest stock core clock speed. , |
