Netflix posts surprise profit, shares jump (Reuters)
Reuters - Online DVD rental service Netflix Inc. on Monday posted a surprise profit in the second quarter as it spent less than planned to promote its service in a bid to take market share from larger rival Blockbuster Inc. .
