Thanks to buygoogle.com for alerting me to the fact that Google’s Web
Accelerator is again available for download, after a long
hiatus. Just yesterday I referred to the Accelerator
as a “short-lived” product, which was obviously wrong. There is no indication on the
download page that this download is an updated version, and time will
tell whether new users encounter the same troubling
security issues seen by original users.
