Partly a fun takeoff on Google Maps, and partly a serious little weaving of NASA image data into the Maps software,
Google Moon displays landing points for each of the Apollo moon landings. Be sure
to drill into the lowest zoom setting—Google made a surprising discovery. In the
FAQ Google hints that the zoom limitation is temporary. It also
claims that by 2069 (100th anniversay of the first moonwalk) Google will be serving Google Moon Local search
requests.
