New York On Tap has created a custom mashup job with unique
(but recognizable) graphis, illustrating the NYC subway system. Draggable as all Google maps, this one adds an
important search feature that promises to show the closest subway station to any entered address. That gizmo doesn’t
quite work—at least, I couldn’t get it to divulge any results, and it took a long time trying. Iron out that wrinkle,
though, and this thing becomes really useful. [via clucic]
