12/12/2005 8:40:51 AM - It looks like AMD is catching up to Intel with their manufacturing process hitting the 65nm technology. AMD claims that through the use of a completely different method of manufacturing, their 65nm chips will result in higher overall product performance and lower power consumption. I believe it should be interesting to see just how well these chips perform once they are available, but for now, all we have is the announcement., |
