210,000 people evacuated in Fujian ahead of typhoon |
|
More than 210,000 people off shore in east China's Fujian Province have been evacuated to safe places on Sunday before the coming of Typhoon Longwang. The people were moved from boats and aquiculture farms in Ningde, Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou. Local governments are transferring people on the low lands of the coastal region. |
